...for your interest in my campaign. I am honored to run for the 193rd Civil District Court for Dallas County. I believe that North Texas is the best place to live in our great state, and Dallas County is the heart of our region. Like every great metropolitan area, our community was built by the hard work of our ancestors who built this prairie into a center of commerce, industry and the arts. If chosen, I plan on bringing that Texas work ethic to the Bench and put in the same long hours and hard work that I have brought to my clients in private practice.

The late Chief Justice William Rehnquist once said that the trial courts are the cornerstone of our legal system where juries deliberate and justice is done. I believe strongly that the trial courts are amongst the most important institutions of government. The most critical role of a trial court judge is to apply the law as passed by the people's representatives and ensure that, if necessary, juries can deliberate the law and facts to ensure that justice is done. I assure you that if elected, my sole focus as a judge would be to apply the law as written in a fair and impartial fashion to facilitate the even handed administration of justice. I pledge to never allow my personal opinions about law or policy to affect my decision-making.
